Pedestrian killed in hit-and-run crash on N.J. road

Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that left a pedestrian dead Monday night in Gloucester County.
Officers responded to Fries Mill Road and Adele Drive in Washington Township around 8 p.m. for a report of a serious crash, township police said.
John DeMarco, 58, of Turnersville, was hit by a vehicle as he walked in the southbound lane of Fries Mill Road, police said.
